| Carolyn, a native of Chester County, PA has been a Master Silversmith and Goldsmith for over twenty-five years. She has a degree from the Bowman Technical School and graduated from The Jewelry Design Institute. Carolyn also attended The Baum School of Art, William Holland School of Lapidary Arts and PMC (precious metal clay) level one and two certification. She gained experience working as a bench jeweler for local fine jewelry stores, but soon realized that she would rather create than repair jewelry. She has created a very unique line of sterling silver, multi metals with semi-precious stone jewelry. She also has been featured in the national magazine, Art Jewelry. Adding to her repertoire, Carolyn designs and fabricates multi metal sculptures. Her work has been accepted into many regional juried shows and fine art exhibits. In addition she teaches silversmithing, beading, wire wrapping, glass fusing, and PMC (precious metal clay). Carolyn enjoys teaching because her students possess the same passion and excitement as she does. They inspire her when they share ideas. She loves collaborating with others to create. Students like the way she simplifies the jewelry making process and teaches in plain understandable terms. She encourages students to use their creativity within. Carolyn is a former studio artist and instructor at The GoggleWorks Center For The Arts. Click here to visit her personal website |
